Russia, Norway to Boost Ties

President Dmitry Medvedev has been meeting in Oslo with Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg to discuss joint development of natural resources and border delimitation issues as part of the Russian leader’s two-day state visit to the Scandinavian state, the Voice of Russia reports. Russia and Norway have recently been building up political and economic and humanitarian cooperation. Environmental protection issues also featured prominently during Tuesday’s talks with Medvedev and Stoltenberg calling for closer ties between their countries’ NGOs and civil society institutions.
