VE-Day Anniversary Exhibit in Brussels

04.05.2010

A photo exhibition called "65 Years Of Peace" has opened in the headquarters of the European parliament in Brussels, RIA Novosti reports. The exhibition dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Victory over Nazism was organized by Russia's representative office in the European Commission, which is quite an unusual thing.

Under the current rules only members of the European parliament are authorized to organize exhibitions there and only once in five years. The photos reflect the brotherhood in arms of the Anti-Hitler coalition allies and also prove the decisive role of the USSR in the defeat of Hitler's Germany. The exhibition will be opened till May 6.
