Results of the Russian Language Competition to be Announced in Prague

04.03.2010

A closing stage of the National Russian Language Competition will take place at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Prague on March 26.

To take part in this annual competition Czech school students are first to win a school language competition and then a local one.

The competition was founded ten years ago, and has gained popularity among Russian language students. Each year the initiative attracts between 20-30 students, who are divided in two groups – those, who have studied the language for 1-2 years, and for over 2 years.

Once in three years winners of the competition are invited to Moscow to take part in the International Russian Language Competition.
