Medvedev Hails Friendly Ties with Denmark

President Dmitry Medvedev hails Russia’s relations with Denmark as an “example of  good-neighborly relations between states”, the Voice of Russia reports. Speaking at a reception given in his honor by Queen Margrethe II, Medvedev thanked his hosts for  the atmosphere of trust and openness which helps achieve tangible progress in bilateral relations. He also said  he would sign on Wednesday with Danish Prime Minister a Partnership for Modernization declaration – a strategic document the President said would encourage Danish businessmen to invest in the establishment of an innovative economy in Russia.
