26.04.2010

A first nanotechnology enterprise opens in the Russian town of Rybinsk on Monday, the ITAR-TASS news agency reports. The unveiling ceremony will be attended by a handful of officials, including Rosnano head Anatoly Chubais and Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov. The state-of-the-art plant will produce carbide-tipped tools with nano-coating – something that should add significantly to the development of Russia’s machine building industry.
