Exhibition Devoted to the Siege of Leningrad Opens in Kirovsk

Exhibition of St. Petersburg-based painter Yuri Belov entitled “The things I Witnessed” opened at a Memorial-museum Lifting of Leningrad Siege”, reports Regnum news agency.

The exhibition tells about Leningrad residents, families, who managed to survive in such tough conditions. There is also a number of paintings depicting the war and the siege completed by Yuri Belov in 2008-2009. Address of the museum: Leningrad region, Kirovsk, str. Pionerskaya 1.

As it has already been reported, on January 18 a number of events devoted to the 67th anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad from the German blockade were conducted in the Leningrad region.
