Mariinsky Theatre Tour in U.S. Starts Despite Snowfalls

The Mariinsky Theatre has launched its tour across the USA, reports ITAR-TASS. The performances started February 9 at The Kennedy Center with the Sleeping Beauty ballet by Pyotr Tchaikovsky (choreography by Marius Petipa, revised by Konstantin Sergeyev), which brought a standing ovation from the audience.
