12th Russian-Italian literary award for young writers and translators


12th Russian-Italian Rainbow literary prize for young writers and translators has started accepting applications, which will last until January 20, 2021.

It is organized by Gorky Literary Institute and the Verona We Explore Eurasia non-profit association (the Russian Center operates under the association) with the support of Banca Intesa and Gazprombank.

The purpose of the award is to encourage the creativity of young Italian and Russian writers and translators, to discover new names in literature, to strengthen Russian-Italian cultural ties.

The competition is open to writers and translators aged 18 to 35.

The jury includes prominent figures from Russian and Italian literature.

The ten best stories submitted for the competition (five from Russia and five from Italy) will be published in the 12th literary almanac by the We Know Eurasia publishing house.
