Izabella Yurieva International competition of Russian romance songs will take place in Tallinn on August 21-26, 2020.

The contest is held annually in two nominations: professional and amateur.

Izabella Yurieva was a prominent Russian singer nicknamed the "Queen of the Russian Romance". She started her career in 1920s and performed Russian and gypsy romance songs. For her unique style of performing the latter she was often called “the white gypsy”. Yurieva died in 2000, after celebrating her centennial.

Individual singers, duets, trios and ensembles are welcome to take part in the contest. The application deadline is August, 1.
