Festival in Poland gathers fans of Russian songs

Primary and secondary school students will be able to take part in the traditional Russian Song Festival, which is scheduled to take place in Lodz (Poland) for the 10th time. The festival is open to contestants with a wide variety of musical tastes, they can perform classical music, pop and rock songs, according to the festival page on Facebook.

The organizers invites all fans of Russian music to the anniversary National Russian Song Festival. Each school can delegate three performers to the festival - soloists, duets or groups.

Applications are accepted until March 18, the festival will be held on June 6 and 7. In in 2020, the festival was held online, bringing together over 50 participants.

The organizers are the Center for Polish-Russian Dialogue and Accord, the Polish Society of Teachers and Teachers of the Russian Language, educational institutions in Lodz, the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Warsaw and others.
