Russian North culture brought to Egypt

Performances and concerts by troups from the Russian north, master classes, photo exhibitions and other events will be held at the Russian House in Cairo as part of the Russian North project. The project aims to introduce the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug in the African country, the Russian House in Cairo writes on Facebook.

Theatrical teams from Yugra will present performances and musical concerts, which capture the originality of the northern culture of Russia.

The program includes exhibitions of folk art, photo exhibitions that give an idea of ​​the unique nature and traditions of the region, master classes in playing traditional musical instruments, and presentations of ethno-cultural projects.

The project is being implemented as part of the Cross Year of Humanitarian Cooperation between Russia and Egypt with the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture.
