KAMAZ-master team wins Dakar rally

The KAMAZ-master team has won the Dakar rally, Eurosport reports. The competition ended on Friday, January 14. The route of the famous rally this year is laid through the territory of Saudi Arabia. The final was held in Jeddah. The members of the KAMAZ-master team in the truck standings won the 1st to the 4th place in the race.

The crew of Dmitry Sotnikov became the winner of the race. It took him almost an hour and 43 minutes to cover the last stretch. It took Sotnikov's truck a little over 41 hours for the entire Dakar route. He has already become a two-time rally winner. Eduard Nikolaev was in second place in the overall standings, Anton Shibalov closed the top three. Andrey Karginov became the 4th.

For the KAMAZ-master team, this victory at Dakar was already the 6th in a row. In total, the Russian team won the rally 19 times.
