Poroshenko to continue fight with Russian literature

godliteratury.ruUkrainian President plans to introduce restrictions on book supplies from Russia, TASS reports. According to Petro Poroshenko, it is necessary to control the book business in Ukraine. In his speech Poroshenko has mentioned the constant stream of that “ukrainofobic scribblings” coming to Ukraine. He is sure that restrictive law will benefit domestic publishers and meet the needs of local readers.

Ukrainian president bragged about the achievements in combatting Russian propaganda. He has stressed that some “propaganda internet portals” are not included in top-10 in Ukraine anymore.

In doing so, the country leader regretted that despite all the measures taken, Ukrainian citizens still visit Russia social networks. Poroshenko has called them “an important resource in undeclared war with Ukraine.” He promised to fight it in all possible ways.

As Russkiy Mir reported earlier, Petro Poroshenko has signed the decree restricting the business of some important Russian internet companies, such as Yandex, Mail.ru, Kaspersky Lab, and others.
