International Moscow Book exhibition-fair starts in Moscow

30th International Moscow Book exhibition-fair starts working in Moscow, Rospechyat informs. This year it is traditionally conducted on VDNH (The Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy), Moscow. Publishers from 40 countries have gathered there. Russian publishing industry is represented by various regions of our country.

Great celebration is planned due to the anniversary of the MIBF. It's events are included in the Day of Moscow celebration.

There will be more than ten various thematic areas during the Festival, including the Literary Salon where readers will meet their favorite authors. Literature Kitchen will include non-fiction authors. Kids Literature section awaits the young readers. At the First Microphone platform most alternative authors will perform. Big program for professional publishers is planned, as well.

Let us remember, the National Literatures of the Peoples of Russia festival has received the title of honored guest. MIBF participants will get acquainted with the most interesting literature works. Also Children literature of the Peoples of Russia is a big part of this project. Original performances are prepared by national theaters specially for MIBF.

International organization Slavic Cultures Forum has prepared еру exposition. It will be possible to see 100 years old newspapers and magazines at the exhibition Press-1917 devoted to the Russian Revolution.

Leading publishing agencies will conduct the job fair. Secondary professional colleges and Moscow Polytechnic University will present their educational programs. The full list of events can be seen here.
