vk.comRussian team took thirteen awards, including seven gold medals at World Championships on Rhythmic Gymnastics in Pesaro, Italy, according to TASS.

In fact, the World Championships turned into glorious triumph of the Averin sisters, who were considerably stronger than the rest of sportsmen in individual disciplines as well as in personal multidiscipline competitions. Despite the fact that it was the first world tournament for Dina and Arina, no experts or fans doubted their success, as earlier in Budapest the Russians showed brilliant performance during Grand Prix stage.

Dina Averina became the best in individual multidiscipline competitions as well as in hoop and club events. She also won silver in ball and ribbon exercises. Her sister Arina Averina took the first place in exercise with ball and ribbon and gave way in ball exercises and in multidiscipline competitions to her sister.

Our girls took gold in string and ball exercises at the last day during group competitions.

Admirers of rhythmic gymnastics agree that at present Russian team is the best in this kind of sports and its preparation and performance deserves the highest praises.
