Switzerland to host music festival with Russian celebrities

pixabay.comSwitzerland is to host Musical September classical music festival with participation of Russian performers, RIA Novosti.

This event is the most prestigious festival of the French-speaking Switzerland. It is held for the 72nd time. Russian National Orchestra, MusicAeterna orchestra, orchestra director, composer and pianist Mikhail Pletnev, choir of Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre directed by Teodor Currentzis are invited to the festival.

Several concerts of classic music will take place in Montreux and Vevey at the end of August - the beginning of September. Among participants are highly-praised musicians, such as Mikhail Pletnev, Teodor Currentzis, Bertrand Chamayou, Mark Andre Hamelin, violin player Reno Capuson and other masters. Music by Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Chopin and other composers of 19-20th centuries are included into the concert programme.
