Golden Ring Rally festival launches in Suzdal

International caravanning Golden Ring Rally festival launches in Suzdal today, July 24. It is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the "Golden Ring of Russia" touristic route, TASS reports.

It is expected that 300 people from 70 countries will participate in the event. According to organizers it's a first festival of this kind.

The main goal of the festival is to acquaint guests with Russian folklore culture. The day of Russian hospitality, Day of Nations’ Friendship, Day of Music are planned. The exhibition of cities and Golden Ring regions is open as well. Aside of that it will be possible to take part in Russian games and taste Russian cuisine. Our artisans will show their skills and give master classes.

Our European and American guests are going to have 18 days to make a tour around our country before and after the festival. Special group tour is planned for them. They will visit Golden Ring cities like Moscow, St Petersburg, Veliky Novgorod, Kostroma, Yaroslavl, et cetera.
