Young inventors from Nizhny Novgorod are to introduce projects in Japan

Nizhny Novgorod teenagers will participate in the International Exhibition for Young Inventors (IEYI), that will take place in Nagoya, TASS informs. Young inventors, who study in Vector ++ school (town Sarov, Nizhegorodsky Oblast), will present their projects in Japan.

According to the head of the local Sarov Innovations Center Andrey Svejenzev, if these inventions will be highly estimated in the International market, they could be patented.

Jury comprises professionals from 20 countries. 10 kids from Russia will represent our country. Three of them are coming from Sarov.

11th grade student Maria Yaushkina will present the sound compass. The camera installed on the compass reacts to the sound source. A signal is transferred to the emergency services. Maria is sure that this device will be on high demand by intelligence services.

10th grader Maksim Bushuev has presented recognizing road signs algorithm with a computer vision help. This invention might interest self-driving car developers. As of now the model is installed on the toy car.

10th grader Ksenia Putrova has calculated on which note the kettle boils. Apart of that she will show how to define the purity of the water according to the time when the boiling begins.
