Russian Cultural Center will appear in Sao Paulo

Russian President Vladimir Putin has highly evaluated perspectives of closer cooperation with Brazil in the field of culture, the official website of the Kremlin reports. In his opinion, interaction should be broadened in all the directions, including education, tourism and youth exchanges.

He has reminded that Brazilian Informational Cultural Center will start working in Moscow in the nearest future, whereas Russian center of Science and Culture will soon be opened in Sao Paulo. Besides, there is development of experience exchange in the field of sport activities, which proves great success.

Brazilian President Michel Temer has also noted that both countries have tight cultural relations, He has explained that presence of Russian culture in all its variety is more and more evident in the country. The head of state has also remarked that names of Russian cultural giants such as Fyodor Dostoyevsky and Pyotr Tchaikovsky are an inseparable part of the cultural panoramic picture of Brazil.
