INTERMUSEUM 2017 Festival brings together more than 300 museums from Russia and abroad

INTERMUSEUM 2017 International Festival of Museums opens today in Manege Exhibition Center in Moscow, as per TASS. Its key topic is Museum of Future. More than 300 museums from our country and abroad are represented at the Festival. Several hundreds of various events are included into the Festival agenda.

Museum Business through the Prism of Digital Technologies session is planned with participation of Museum experts Victoria and Albert London. Workers of The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the Kazan Kremlin and London Museum of Science will share their experience at The Museum-Multimedia-Visitor session

This year, conferences, lectures, creative meetings will not be held only in Manege Exhibition Center. The works by the contesters for the awards of Innovation Modern Arts can be seen in the Museum of Architecture named after A.V. Shchusev. For our People exposition dedicated to anniversary of Bulgaria’s liberation from the Ottoman yoke is organized in the State Historical Museum. Genius of Place exhibition will start its work in Manege Exhibition Center to mark its 200th anniversary. Participants of International Conference on Problems of Renovation will gather at the Moscow Kremlin Museum.

Twenty projects will be presented to the audience. Winners in five nominations will be defined including the best scientific-research project, the best projects in the field of museum education and information technologies. Moreover, an author of the best project on social interaction and the Grand Prix holder will be announced.
