Visit Petersburg tourist offices opened in Teheran and Taipei

The Northern capital of Russia opened two tourist information offices. Visit Petersburg offices started to function in the capital of Teheran and in Taipei, Taiwan, as per Interfax.

The city administration has explained that tourists planning to visit Russia will be able to get easily all necessary information about the city – about hotels, sights, tourist routes and many other things. Experts will be glad to answer all their questions and choose a tourist route around the city meeting interests of each definite tourist most.

The city authorities plan to open not less than ten Visit Petersburg tourist centers this year in European countries and India. The first office started to work in the capital of China. Visit Petersburg office was initiated in Paris this year. This project is a public-private partnership, so no budget is allocated for its implementation.

According to the Russkiy Mir Foundation, Saint Petersburg was acknowledged the best tourist and cultural destination in 2016. The northern capital of Russia has won World Travel Awards - the most prestigious award of the tourist industry.
