Snowden's lawyer Anatoly Kucherena has stated that the former CIA agent continues to learn Russian language successfully, RIA Novosti reports.

Mr. Kucherena has stressed that Snowden doesn't have any plans returning to USA where he would be alleged in espionage and State property embezzlement. At the current time Snowden continues to live and work in Russia. The lawyer said that he had a pleasure to talk with his client, and noted with satisfaction that ex-agent can explain himself in Russian pretty well.

As the layer marked in an interview the Trump's office administration didn't try to contact his defendant yet. Anatoly Kucherena has also denied the rumors that Snowden could be extradited to the US in a swap deal for the Russian businessman Victor But.

As Russkiy Mir editorial informed earlier, on August, 1 2013 Edward Snowden was granted temporary asylum in Russia under the condition that he stops carrying out subversive activities against USA. After one year ex-CIA agent received Russian residence permit. Snowden's first gift in an aeroport transit zone was a Russian language book for beginners.
