Filmmakers from Russia and Syria to shoot a feature on Palmira events

RF Defense MinistryFilmmakers from Russia and Syria are going to make a co-production movie. 

Russian company Proline-Media and Syrian Shaghaf have come to an agreement to create a feature named Palmyra, RF Ministry of Culture informs. Russian Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky and Syria's ambassador to Moscow Riad Haddad will participate in the agreement signing ceremony. 

Ivan Bolotnikov will write scenario and do film directing, while Syrian actress Sulaf Fahrakedzji is going to be a producer. 

The plot of the future film unveils the story of a Dagestan doctor who gets in a very uneasy situation when his wife with kids runs to Syria.
