Moscow may be called the most intelligent city of the planet

Contest organizers defined a short list of cities nominated to obtain an honorable title of the most intelligent city of the planet. Moscow is included in this list for the first time, RIA Novosti informs. Contest founder Robert Bell has noted that final stage of contest for the most intelligent city of the planet with the most advanced technologies will take place on June 8 in New York.

Representatives of Intellectual Society Forum will chose a winner. They claimed that this contest will attract attention of city mayors and councils to leading cities with exemplary technologies and infrastructure.

Robert Bell attended various centers and organizations as well as got acquainted with My Street project in the course of his visit to Moscow. He has satisfactory remarked that over the last five years the capital of Russia has been improved immensely and high-tech solutions have become indispensable for the citizens. For that Bell did justice to Moscow administration and Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.

Apart from Moscow, Edmonton, Grey County, Melbourne, Ipswich, Chiayi and Tayan were included into the list of the most intelligent cities-to-be.
