Foto-AG Gymnasium Melle//wikimedia.org The French Government does not have any reasons for hostile attitude towards Russia, the National Front leader Marine Le Pen asserts. She shared this thought during her presentation at the session of the State Duma International Committee in Moscow. The Committee Chairman Leonid Slutsky invited her to Moscow, according to RIA Novosti.

According to Le Pen, both sides should keep in touch and strengthen connections, which have been established for long years. She reminded that Russian–French relations had developed in all directions: culture, trade and energy sector.

At this, the French politician called the Anti-Russian sanctions imposed by the European Union a diplomacy of threats and black mailing. She claimed that she would firmly assert the idea of cancellation of EU ‘stop-list’. The French presidential candidate has also confirmed that her position on Ukraine coincides with Russian one.

Le Pen has emphasized that two countries should join to find ways of standing against two major challenges, which is globalism and Islamic fundamentalism. She has added that the latter impends the world and security by means of terrorist attacks.
