Bolshoi Theater soloists perform in Geneva and Paris

Bolshoi| Theater has begun its European tour, RIA Novosti reports. Opera soloists, choir, and orchestra performances is presented to Swiss and French audiences. Concerts are planned in Zurich, Toulouse and Paris.

This tour will be a reciprocal visit of Russian performers. One year ago Orchestre national du Capitole de Toulouse was visiting our country. The Requiem by Berlioz was played on Historical Stage State Academic Bolshoi Theater, directed for more than 10 years by its principal conductor Tugan Sokhiev.

Joan of Arc by Tchaikovsky is played by orchestra under Tugan Sokhiev is in the Paris schedule.

Meanwhile in in Zurich and Geneva fragments from Tchaikovsky and Rimsky-Korsakov operas were performed. Famous Russian singers Agunda Kylaeva, Igor Golovatenko, and Bogdan Volkov participated in event. These concerts were part of season ticket Outstanding Artists.
