Collections by young Russian designers at Fashion Week in London

Clothes by young Russian designers will be presented to the attention of haute couture devotees at the International Fashion Showcase (IFS) exhibition organized at the Somerset House in London as part of Fashion Week, as per RIA Novosti.

It is already fifth IFS exhibition, where such Russian brands as TURBO YULIA, Artem Shumov, Saint-Tokyo and others are represented. The event aims to support starting designers from across the world.

Executive President of the National chamber of fashion Alexander Shumsky remarked that Russia’s debut at such a respectful exhibition will play a positive role for the public image of our designers and will provide them an opportunity to promote their brands worldwide.

Local/Global topic is the main theme of this showcase. On the collections presented, Russian designers took references to the motives of Russian history and art.

More than 450 designers from all over the world could participate at the exhibition over 5 years.
