There is nothing left to say about Ukraine’s behavior, let God judge them. Such was the comment from Russia President Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov regarding the decision of Ukrainian Representative, who bears office of the head of UN Security Council this month, to omit a speech about the death of Russian Federation’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations. He added that the death of Vitaly Churkin is such a great loss for Russia, that Kiev’s reaction is not worth paying any attention to, RIA Novosti informs.

At the same time, other members of the Security Council made their statements for mass media concerning this tragic event. Even opponents of Vitaly Churkin extended their condolences. Former Washington Permanent Representative to the United Nations Samantha Power called him “a master of diplomacy and a deeply empathic person”.

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov expressed his assurance that the Ukrainian Representative to the United Nations would not behave like that on his own. “Doubtless, he received a corresponding order”, the head of Foreign Ministry believes.

“This is not a Christian-like behavior, it is beyond good and evil,” the diplomat added. At this, he acknowledged that this kind of behavior exist in some parts of that country, especially towards Russians and those who refused to obey neo-Nazi regime.

In opinion of Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova, “this is the very essence of today’s Ukrainian ‘government’. They cannot do anything useful, but they just destroy everything including themselves”.
