Insight by Alexander Kott wins prize at Haifa Film Festival

Insight made by a Russian director Alexander Kott has won a prize at the 32nd Haifa International Festival, reports RIA «Novosti». Six Russian films made recently, including Zoology by Tverdovsky, The Collector by Krasovsky, Paradise by Konchalovsky, The Student by Serebrennikov and Syndrom Petrushki by Khazanova were included into the short-list of the festival. Andrey Plakhov, Honorary President of International Federation of Film Critics ( FIPRESCI) was among the jury members.

According to the producer of Insight Ekaterina Filippova, the film production was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of the RF. The film deals with a story of a man who became blind of a sudden. Insight features such actors as Alexander Yatsenko and Agrippina Steklova among others.
