Actress and poet Alla Demidova celebrates her jubilee

Фото: nv-online.info Today, on 29 September, a famous Soviet and Russian actress Alla Demidova celebrates her 80th jubilee, reports TASS. President of the RF Vladimir Putin has congratulated the actress on it.

According to him, Alla Demidova’s contribution to Russian culture cannot be overestimated. “The parts you have played, your fruitful concert activity and your work as a writer have contributed a lot to the development of contemporary Russian culture”, the telegram available at the Kremlin website says. Vladimir Putin called Alla Demidova a brilliant example to follow by all those who want to deal with art.

He added that the actress’s career allowed her to realize all her talents and to win respect and make a conquest of the audiences belonging to different generations. The Russian leader wished Alla Demidova health, wellbeing and every success with her creative activity.

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has congratulated the actress on the occasion, too, saying that millions of cinema lovers appreciate the films she has appeared in, know her as a brilliant theatre actress and enjoy her marvelous poet concerts.

Alla Demidva has been awarded the Order of Friendship and third and fourth class “Order of Merit for the Fatherland’. She is also a USSR State Prize award winner for her part in the film named “The Escape of Mr. McKinley” and the President of the Russian Federation's Prize for outstanding contribution to Arts and literature award winner. She has also won The Stanislavsky award and The "Idol" Award.
