“These are only preliminary findings and we will have to continue the investigation. Unfortunately, we have not seen any proof in the report”, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with the BBC. He reminded about the fact that Moscow had always supported the investigation of the incident, reports TASS. In addition, Russia would like to take part in it, too but it was not included into the Joint Investigation Team as its member.

Dmitry Peskov also added that when such tragedy occurs, one cannot only make unsupported allegations underlining that the report contains a lot of contradictions. Besides, Mr. Peskov said that new information keep on appearing and it will help to find out what caused the tragedy.

It is to be recalled that the investigators arrived at the conclusion that the plane was shot down in the summer 2014 with a BUK missile brought from Russia’s territory. Experts claim that the missile was launched from the Pervomayskoye village to the south of Snezhnoye, which was controlled by self-defense militias at that time.

The Russian Joint Stock Company “Concern “Almaz – Antey” has carried out three experiments which proved the missile had been launched from the Zaroschenskoe village controlled by the Ukrainian military forces.

Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RF claimed that the investigation findings proved the fact that it had been pre-conceived and the conclusion had been made following political motivation.
