Russian film Stilyagi screened in Turin in Russian

28.09.2016

A movie named Stilyagi (Hipsters in the English release) made by V. Todorovsky was screened in Turin on September 23 under the initiative of the Italian-Russian Cultural Association «E’ORA?!».

The film was made in 2008 and it was translated into English at once but thanks to students who attended a seminar “Film translation with making subtitles” held at the Russian Center under the Milan University, it became available for Italian cinema lovers at last.

Despite the fact that «E’ORA?!» was only founded in January 2016, it managed to command respect and make a conquest of both Russian compatriots living in Italy and Italian amateurs of Russian culture.

The activity carried out by the Italian-Russian Cultural Association «E’ORA?!» operating in Turin is a good example illustrating the way creative work contributes to the development of cooperation and strengthening of mutual understanding between the two countries.
