Republican Russian Language Olympiad starts in DPRK

The 2nd Republican Russian Language Olympiad has started in Pyongyang today. Several tens of students and school students living in different parts of the country are its finalists.

The Olympiad is supported by the Embassy of the RF to the DPRK and the Russkiy Mir Foundation. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Olympiad held at the Russian Center under the Pyongyang Institute of Foreign Studies, head of the Foundation's regional programs division Georgy Toloraya said the 1st Russian Language Olympiad arranged the previous year had been successful and wished all the participants every success in the contest held this year. The Russkiy Mir Foundation prepared prizes for the Olympiad winners.
