Texas holds ‘Art relay’

The “Art relay” festival with the assistance of “Russkyi Mir” foundation, Texas Commission on the Arts, United Russian American Association and the Texas Puppetry Guild was held on September 17, 2016. It was devoted to the 115th anniversary of the birthday of Sergey Obraztsov and the 85th anniversary of his famous theater.

Puppet shows for adults and children, dance shows, a drawing and writing competition for children of Russian compatriots from 4 to 8 years living in Texas were part of the festival. A concert of ensembles of Russian folk dance also took place there.
