Cannes hosts exhibition of Russian cinema costumes

Photo: mkrf.ru Cannes, France, hosts an exhibition dedicated to Russian cinema and dated to the Year of Russian Cinema, reports Ministry of Culture of the RF. The exhibition entitled “Russian Cinema: its history and modern era” was arranged by the Gorky Film Studio and it is available for visitors at the famous Palais des Festivals.

Visitors will have a chance to see cinema costumes and headwear Russian film actors and actresses wear in famous Russian films. Advertising bills, posters, post cards, documentary photos and a great number of other exhibits provided by the Museum of Contemporary Russian History are on display.

The exhibition is included into the program of the regular Festival of Russian Art. As it was reported by Russkiy Mir website, this year it has been held for the 19th time.
