European Winners of Russian language Olympiads meet in Minsk

A shift for winners of the Russian language and literature Olympiads held in European countries starts on August 22 in Minsk, Belarus. It is arranged upon an initiative of the International Pedagogical Club with the support of the Russkiy mir Foundation under the auspices of the Ministry of Education of Belarus. School students at the ages from 14 to 17 representing Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Hungary and Latvia take part in it.

The shift program includes Russian language and literature classes, meetings with outstanding culture and education professionals as well as Belorussian writers writing in Russian, various guided tours and sports events. The shift is to end with an Olympiad in the Russian language.
