Berlin tests prove Cortege reliability rate

Photo: © RIA Novosti. Sergey Subbotin The automobile designed under the Cortege project managed to pass the front crash test successfully getting the highest score, reports RIA«Novosti».

The crash test was performed in Berlin (Germany). According to Vice-rector for innovative projects of the Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University Alexey Borovkov, it proved the automobile meets all the international requirements for that sort of vehicles.

The automobile was designed and produced as part of the Factories of the Future project in record time of two years. Mr. Borovkov says that the unified modular platform that allows producing such high quality products is available in Russia for the first time.

The Factories of the Future project is focused on the creation of platforms to be used for developing digital design techniques and modeling next generation products for different fields of activity including missile, shipbuilding, auto and helicopter industries among others.
