According to the schedule of USE 2016, over 4,000 school leavers are to write the USE in the Russian language on an additional day which is today, June 27, reports RIA «Novosti».

Representatives of the Rosobrnadzor said that 725 exam centers are available throughout all the Russian regions. Exams carried out on additional days follow the same regulations worked out for exams taken by school leavers on the scheduled days.

Taking the USE in the Russian language as well as in some other subjects is compulsory in order to get the Certificate of Secondary General Education. Those who failed the exam or could not present at it due to an admissible excuse on the scheduled exam day, can take it on an additional day. Besides, those whose exam results were cancelled can take the exam today, too. The exam results might be cancelled due to the violation of the procedure for conducting USEs fixed by their arrangers or other persons in charge.

It is to be recalled, that Russian school leavers took their USE in the Russian language on May 30 at about 5,500 exam centers arranged throughout the country. The exam results showed, that school students had passed it with better scores than they used to. There were fewer school students who had failed the exam and more school students who managed to get high points for it. The scores of 202 exams were cancelled.
