Special Russian language courses are over in Krakow

22.06.2016

The Russian Center in Krakow hosts Russian language courses every year. In 2015/2016 we arranged special courses “The Russian language for business and economics”, “The Russian language for translators”, “Professional and business communication in Russian in the sphere of tourism” and “The Russian language for future journalists and mass media staff” which became possible thanks to the financial support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation.

All the courses were extremely popular among students of Krakow higher educational institutions who had two hour classes twice a week within the academic year to improve their knowledge of the Russian language. The trainees used textbooks, dictionaries and training aids both available at the center and specially bought for the courses. Using the interactive whiteboard and computers they managed to find all the necessary information on the Internet and. Besides, they practiced in typing Russian using keyboard having Russian letters. Special courses helped the students to improve their communicative skills in Russian which will make the search of an interesting job in the future easier.

The trainers were pleased with the work of their trainees. Everybody made progress and improved their Russian. All those who wanted to take in Russian as a foreign language test to get their certificates in it passed the test successfully. Many students are going to continue their training at the Center next academic year. The best ones of them will take part in the 5th International Festival named "Friends, How Wonderful Our Union is!” held at the Sanatorium and Health Complex “Kamchia” (Bulgaria). We will meet a lot of students this summer, too. We have already invited them to visit out summer cinema hall. The courses are over but the Russian Center keeps on working and promoting Russian language and culture among Polish people.
