A delegation of Hebei University (China) had a meeting with the Rector of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University professor Stanislav Makhalovsky on May 24, 2016. They discussed further cooperation between the universities including exchange of students. Since February a group of Chinese students have been doing practical language training at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University.

Then the Chinese delegation visited the Russian Center at the university and had a meeting with those students who shared their experience about their stay in Poland and Lublin as well as about their training at the Institute of Slavonic Philology of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University.
