Фото: © РИА Новости. Екатерина Чеснокова Yakut cinema lovers have sent their own Oscar to a famous American actor Leonardo DiCaprio, reports RIA Novosti. Tatyana Egorova who initiated the campaign says Leo DiCaprio has already got it.

It is a figurine of a Mongoloid named “Speaking to Stars”. He is looking up in the sky and is holding a Yakut choroon ritual vessel. The figurine is made of silver provided by people living in Yakutia.

Tatyana Egorova says that it was delivered to the USA several days ago but Leonardo DiCaprio could not come to Miami to receive the Russian fans’ gift so it was sent to Los Angeles and the actor got it.

It is to be recalled , that two years ago the Chelyabinsk Drama Chamber Theatre had an idea to award DiCaprio with their own Oscar made of cast iron, Yuri Sychev, the theater deputy director of Public Relations, said.
