Russian Language Becomes Part of the Curriculum at International School in Mumbai

Russian language studies have been introduced in a Mumbai school for the first time, a Russian diplomat said on Saturday, RIR reports. City International School, which is based in the Mumbai suburb of Andheri will start Russian language and culture lessons for primary school students from November, Alexey Mzareulov, deputy consul-general of Russia said.
 
Dr. Suniti Deshpande, the head of the Russian language department at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Mumbai will conduct the classes, Mzareulov said.
